PKA – Featured Past Episode: Chris Cook

Listen to internet radio with The Powder Keg of Awesome on Blog Talk Radio

Today on the show, we interviewed Green Valley Theatre Company Artistic Director, Christopher Cook. In full disclosure, we were able to book this gig because Jerry is part of the cast of their upcoming production of Cabaret, which we invite all of our Sacramento area listeners to come see when the show debuts on August 10.

Chris Cook appears to be smoking an imaginary cigarette.

On the Powder Keg of Awesome, you will find that we frequently interview local people from small business and the artistic community. It’s part of our evil diabolical plan to make the world more awesome. We know that the arts make a community awesome, and people in the arts and business know how to make stuff go, so we want to support that in every way we can.

Chris was a great interview. I think he really had no idea what to expect. I loved this show because I not only got to seemlessly work in a Spinal Tap Reference in the first five minutes, but it also gave me a platform to rant about how much I hate the musical Rent.

Jerry talked about how awesome it is to work for Chris and how being in Cabaret is challenging him as an actor. Bet you didn’t know that Jerry is an actor? Now you do.
